we wait and wait...for what?
an epiphany.
if god was to wipe all the websites away, i will beg him to save this one,
for it is where jesus can be found...
and his real name is ray lamontagne.
one early dawn in maine, just about to face another long working day in a shoe factory, an oddball found himself waking up to stephen still's 'tree top flyer' from his clock radio. that this wake-up call was to be his epiphany would have never came across the mind of this misfit from new hampshire. not to someone who rarely spoke--much less sing. yet serendipity ain't such for nothing. after a series of quite fortunate events, ray lamontagne found himself holding a guitar, in front of a microphone, in the middle of a recording studio.
of music he says " (it's) just a release of all that stuff inside you that's trying to kill you...you can take things that are painful, deep things that hurt you, and you can turn them into something beautiful."
beautiful indeed, that in one peculiar night, having heard lamontagne and how he had said we get caught up in our own experiences but in fact there are billions and billions of other experiences going on; this, only moments after having seen innaritu's babel, i find myself alone.
